is a device for compressing gas, and its structure is similar to that of water pump. Most industrial air compressors are reciprocating piston type, rotating blades or rotating screws, and centrifugal compressors are very large applications.
Industrial air compressor is a compressor driven directly by a motor, so that the crankshaft produces rotational motion, driving the connecting rod and making the piston produce reciprocating motion, resulting in cylinder volume changes. Because of the change of the pressure in the cylinder, air enters the cylinder through the air filter (muffler) through the intake valve. During the compression stroke, the compressed air passes through the exhaust valve because of the reduction of the cylinder volume. Through the exhaust pipe, the one-way valve (check valve) enters the gas storage tank, when the exhaust pressure reaches the rated pressure of 0.7 MPa. Automatic shutdown is controlled by a pressure switch. When the pressure of the gas storage tank drops to 0.5-0.6 MPa, the pressure switch is automatically connected and started. The industrial air compressor is the core equipment of the pneumatic system, the main body of the electromechanical air source device, it is the device that converts the mechanical energy of the original (usually motor or diesel engine) into the gas pressure energy, is the pneumatic pressure-generating device of compressed air.
