Maintenance Of Screw Air Compressor Cooler System

The cooler should be periodically cleaned according to the environmental conditions so that the best portable air compressor  can work at normal temperature to ensure long service life of the machine. When the cooler is dirty, the compressor exhaust temperature will increase. Generally every 1500 hours should be cleaned outside the air-cooled cooler, water-cooled cooler should be cleaned every 1500 hours water side, regular cooling of the cooler has the following benefits: 

1. the unit is always working at the ideal working temperature (95 ℃ below), the performance of the machine, life is good.
2. you can use the cleaning fluid to remove dirt, or when the dirt is thick, clean up quite troublesome, you need to remove the cooler, with the help of mechanical methods to complete the clean-up work.

Second, the cooling medium side of the cleaning steps

1. shut down and confirm that the pressure has been released, pull down the power switch.
2. open the hood cleaning cover, or remove the cooling fan.
3. with compressed air blow to blow the dirt, and then take out the wind guide hood; if dirty, you should spray some degreaser and then blow. When it is not possible to clean it by the above method, the cooler needs to be removed, soaked or sprayed with a cleaning solution and cleaned with a brush (no wire brush).
4. installed cover or cooling fan.

Third, the two screw cooler cleaning and maintenance
Water-cooled cooler

1. shut down and confirm that the pressure has been released, pull down the power switch.
2. open the hood cleaning cover, or remove the cooling fan.

Oil-cooled cooler

1. shut down and confirm that the pressure has been released, pull down the power switch.
2. open into the tubing.
3. into the cleaning solution immersion or pump cycle erosion (recoil better).
4. rinse with water.
5. dry with dry air or dehydrated oil in addition to water.
